Some call it coaching.
I call it teaching.

“Teaching is the process of attending to people’s needs, experiences and feelings, and intervening so that they learn particular things, and go beyond the given.”

Call it what you want, the typical person that feels attracted to me and my work are executives and managers who have a lot to do and not a whole lot of time to do it in.

And it’s all getting a bit much.

Like them, you probably also feel overwhelmed, overworked, stressed, and even a little bit out of control.

You spend (waste?) too much time in meetings, and keep fighting the email battle.

You also probably work many more hours than you should.

It’s surely not how you would like things to be.

If so, you have your own unique “productivity gap”.

You can use the calculator on the left to discover how much it’s costing you.  Click “What is your gap costing you?”

And you want to close your gap.  Sooner rather than later.  Otherwise you would not be reading this now.

So, rather than spending months or even years of your own time and money to search through all the online resources to find a way to personal productivity mastery, you are looking for a proven shortcut.

Preferably in a one-to-one setting so all attention is on your specific situation and your work is the curriculum.

Am I about 80% right?

I know I can help you close your productivity gap and live a a high-energy, purposeful, productive, and fulfilling life.

How? The most effective way to find the answer is to meet for a strategy session.

There are a number of orange buttons on this page.  Click on any one to send me an email and I will be in touch.

Gerrit Cloete
Your Teacher, Guide and Companion

I am a simple kind of teacher.

I love what I do.

I am not a certified coach.

I have no COMENSA qualification on my wall.

My clients are my qualifications.

My biggest reward is the smile on the face of people I work with when they say, “Thank you for making my life easier and better.”

And I look forward to joining you on your journey to high-performance workflow management.  So that things just get done smoother and faster than you ever thought possible.

In my public and private workshops and one-to-one tuition, I have had the privilege of helping more than 13 000 people from 320+ companies in 12 countries achieve optimal productivity with minimal effort.

The common theme I hear from them is that using what I teach makes life easier for them.

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” – African proverb.

Shall we?

What clients achieve – and so can you

  • simplify and streamline yout workflow
  • optimise your time in meetings
  • delegate and follow up effectively
  • eliminate email overwhelm
  • Improve asynchronous digital communication
  • discover your pattern of working in a high-performance mode.

You then get your right things done easier, faster, and better.

If you so choose, we bring your entire team on the same page of productivity policy and practices.

I specialize in helping people who HAVE Outlook to actually USE IT as a business productivity tool and not just for email and meeting management like most other people do,

Not using Outlook is, however, not a disqualifier for us to work together.

How does this work?

You must be serious about achieving optimal productivity – at least 8 on a scale of 1-10 where 1 is nice to have and 10 is mission critical.

You must want to do that with minimal effort with minimal effort.

Sense of urgency. No good to talk if you only want results 4 months down the line. Or even worse, 12 months down the line.

If you are ready to start immediately and see results from the word go, that’s better.

You must be serious enough to find between two and four hours per week to do the work. If you cannot, let’s not talk. If we talk, you will explain to me what you will be giving up to free up this time.

You must accept responsibility for yourself. To quote Alan Weiss, “It’s my advice and your discipline. We cannot do it the other way around. You are accountable for what you achieve. And I will hold your feet to the fire 😀

You must realise that we are not going to create a quick fix. Six sessions, one per week, is the minimum commitment that I am willing to engage in.

You must be willing to put your money where your mouth is. There is no free first consultation because you will leave our first consultation with clarity of purpose, challenges and a crystal clear next actions you can take to close the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Fee for first consultation of up to 75 minutes: R975 (when you make the appointment your card will be charged USD65, the approximate equivalent of R495.). If you decide to go ahead, this amount will be deducted from your total package fee.

If we both feel good that this can work, we contract for a further six sessions at R975 per hour = R5850 for the package deal. With the payment for the first session deducted, the balance due before we begin is R4875. We can negotiate monthly payments, at a 10% premium.

If, and only if, you are comfortable with these guidelines, feel free to go ahead and book our first consultation at

Your workload is our curriculum.
In our conversations we will draw on the resources in my
Outlook Productivity as well as
Personal Productivity Mastery course
(yours for free for 6 months).

Can I not just search the Internet and get the content for free?

Of course you can. It will, however, take you a lot of time, effort, and some money, to synthesize it all into the course similar to the course you get at the Online School of Productivity. Our course does not just give you the information, but is structured so you get the transformation from your current situation to where you want to be: getting your right things done – with as little effort as possible. Also, the typical Internet solutions do not give you live support and interactive online workshops specific to this course.

Will this course work with my version of Outlook?

We created the videos using Outlook 365, and that’s what you will see on the course. Due to frequent updates the user interface may be slightly different. Everything you learn works on all versions from Outlook 2010 and later.

How long does it take to complete the course?

The duration of a private in-house course is determined by the agreed schedule. Self-study takes as long as individuals want it to take. In all cases, the content remains available for 6 months. We have 6 weekly online group workshops.

Is a certificate awarded?

Yes, on completion of all modules students receive a certificate. For private in-house hybrid courses the certificate can be customised.

Can I do this on a mobile device?

The Thinkific platform doesn’t currently offer an app, but is mobile responsive so you will be able to take your course on any phone, tablet, or computer.

Thank you for your visit.

I trust that you have already gained some insight into the essence of Outlook Productivity and how we can support you in achieving your goals.
