General notes/comments:

  2. Please use the Facebook Group as a forum where you can connect to others.

  4. The recordings will be available from about 21:30 on the day of the webinar.  You can access previous reording by clicking the “recording link” in the section for each module..
  5. For the resources section in each module:
    1. It is not necessay to read through everything before the webinar!
    2. These resources are for you to dip into as and when you want to.
    3. More will be added as we progress.
    4. I will not refer to the articles during the webinar.

Module 1: We get what we get because we do what we do – but why do we do what we do?

Workbook (click to download)Productivity Breakthrough Masterclass Module 1

Recording: Available here (enter details and “register” to view).

Things to do after the webinar (I will not ask you if you have done these things or not – that’s up to you!):

  1. Develop your personal mission statement.  I suggest visit  https://msb.franklincovey.com/ and of course search for “Personal mission statement.
  2. Do a “mind dump” every day (p5 of workbook) at the end of the workday or last thing of the day before you retire.
  3. Review notes on p6-7 about “productive mind-set” – anything there you would like to improve?
  4. Review Shad Helmstetter’s stuff on p10-14 of workbook.
  5. You may want to use the table on p15 to identify areas in your life you want to improve, and write down your new self-talk statements.  I strongly recommend that you write your self-talk on index cards and keep them in a place where you can review it 3 times a day for the next month or two (or forever for that matter!).
  6. You are welcome to email me at gerrit@789.co.za or call me on 082 737 3676 (08 2 PERFORM) with questions or when you feel stuck.
  7. Visit www.thework.com and do “the work” for at least one of your current limiting beliefs (e.g. the form on p16).
  8. Have fun!

Workbook (click to download)Productivity Breakthrough Masterclass Module 2

Recording: Available here.  Enter details and “register” to view.  “Fast forward” to 01:50.  I am really sorry about the audio issue!  I have no idea what happened – at one stage I saw a notice that my audio connection has been lost and is being restored.  I don’t want to promise anything, but will see if I can do something to get the “lost auido” back.

Things to do after the webinar (I will not ask you if you have done these things or not – that’s up to you!):

  1. Identify the reason why you have difficulty in creating a new (productivity) habit and sticking to it (page 3 of handout).
  2. Use the table on page 5 to create your “tiny habits” for each area in which you want to make a change.
  3. I strongly recommend that you review the resources below – there’s some really good stuff in there!
  4. At the end of each basic work habit in the handout, complete the “planning to fail” section.  Call/email me if you are not sure of how to go about it.
  5. Teach one thing that you found valuable in this module to someone else before next Tuesday..
  6. Have fun!
